  • About the Opportunity:

The Software Engineer, I - Data Engineering will contribute to building and supporting Linux- and cloud-based data systems that handle large volumes of data from vehicle fleets and simulations. This role supports data ingestion, processing, and storage solutions that enable analytics, simulation, and machine learning training, playing a key part in delivering data infrastructure critical to the organization''s autonomous driving software development.

  • Responsibilities:

Develop robust pipelines to process daily data from vehicle fleets and simulations

Build and maintain scalable data pipelines within the Data Factory for machine learning training

Expand the data lake through distributed storage, data discovery, and acquisition of internal and external datasets

Ensure data integrity via validation, versioning, provenance, and governance

Assist in developing and delivering cloud-based data solutions

Collaborate with teams in perception, planning, control, mapping, and vehicle testing

Support cloud-based capabilities that improve software build, deployment, and testing

Participate in on-call rotation to maintain deployed systems during business hours

  • Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Proficient in Python programming

Experience with Docker and containerization

Commitment to test-driven development, continuous integration and delivery, and infrastructure as code

Proficient with Linux and bash scripting

Experience deploying, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintaining Linux systems

  • Pay Range and Compensation Package:

Hiring range: $114,400 to $137,300 USD annually, depending on experience and skills
