  • About the Opportunity:

The Staff Machine Learning Engineer role serves as a technical leader in developing and advancing the organization''s machine learning and AI capabilities. This position is responsible for shaping strategic ML initiatives, designing scalable algorithms, and translating research into high-performance production systems. It plays a critical role in mentoring colleagues and establishing ML best practices, impacting the entire organization.

  • Responsibilities:

Define and execute the ML strategy for core marketplace components including recommendation and matching systems

Architect and maintain scalable machine learning systems for real-time prediction and ranking

Address complex problems specific to two-sided marketplaces such as intent prediction and cold start challenges

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to machine learning engineers and data scientists

Oversee full lifecycle of ML models from development to deployment and evaluation

  • Requirements:

Eight or more years of professional experience deploying ML models in large-scale production

Demonstrated ability to architect and deliver end-to-end ML systems at scale

Expertise in recommendation systems, personalization, ranking, retrieval, or interaction prediction

Proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow

Experience leading technical efforts and mentoring cross-functional teams

Strong background in statistical modeling and online/offline experimentation techniques

  • Pay Range and Compensation Package:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $205,000.00 to $265,000.00 USD

Compensation may include equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of incentive
