Responsibilities:

Design, develop, deploy, monitor, operate and maintain existing or new elements of our systems and infrastructure.

Collaborate with engineers and partners in science & product to drive projects from inception, specification, execution, to launch.

Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code.

Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge.

Build an extensible and scalable platform that powers secure detection and response capabilities across the security lifecycle.

Ensure high availability and reliability of detection engineering systems to support critical security monitoring and threat identification flows.

Experience:

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2 years of pre- or post-academic experience in job offered, software development, or related occupation.

Experience with Object-oriented programming.

Experience writing clear, scalable, and clear design documentation.

Experience with backend software development of large-scale distributed systems.

The expected base pay range for this position in the Seattle area is $149,240 - $192,000/year. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
