Purpose:
The Software Engineering Lead is responsible for the leadership and mentorship of a development team while contributing to hands-on development. This role involves leveraging strong technical expertise in the Microsoft technology stack, managing performance, and fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation. The lead works closely with Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Summary of Duties:
Lead and participate in the hands-on development of applications using the Microsoft stack (.Net, C#, SQL Server, Azure).
Drive the adoption of cloud and agile methodologies across the team.
Oversee code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Actively contribute to software development, writing, testing, and optimizing code.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Balance development responsibilities with leadership duties.
Manage and mentor a team of developers, ensuring their professional growth and engagement.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Facilitate effective time tracking, workload management, and resource planning.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure timely project delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders to establish clear objectives and manage expectations.
Foster a culture of open, proactive communication and assertive problem-solving.
Encourage cross-functional collaboration and empower team members to achieve their best.
Advocate for and implement cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to enhance team productivity.
Advocate for and implement modern development practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps.
Education requirements:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or closely related field.
Experience requirements:
8 years of software development experience.
Special Skills or Other Requirements:
Must have experience with each of the following:
Utilize knowledge of Cloud technologies to deploy applications to public clouds like Azure.
Extensive experience in developing software applications using Object-Oriented languages like Java or C#.
Experience in using automation frameworks like Ansible, Terraform to install applications or deploy resources to servers automatically.
Extensive experience with Database Frameworks like (SQL, Oracle etc.) to store application data.
Experience in leading teams to develop software applications and deploy them to production environment.
Hybrid work with 3 days per week in office.
