About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist who thrives at the intersection of advanced analytics, machine learning, experimentation, and business strategy. This individual will play a key role in identifying opportunities, developing predictive solutions, and delivering insights that influence decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience applying data science within healthcare environments, working closely with marketing and business stakeholders, and utilizing cloud-based analytics platforms to build scalable solutions.

What You'll Do:

Applied Machine Learning & Predictive Modeling

Develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning models that address high-value business opportunities.

Build analytical solutions that forecast outcomes, optimize decisions, and uncover actionable business insights.

Perform data preparation, feature development, model validation, and ongoing model performance tracking.

Convert business objectives into practical, scalable analytical solutions.

Experimental Design & Quantitative Analysis

Design and evaluate controlled experiments, including A/B testing initiatives.

Utilize statistical techniques to assess campaign performance, customer engagement, and operational effectiveness.

Interpret analytical findings and translate them into business recommendations.

Business & Marketing Collaboration

Partner with marketing teams to support customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and personalization strategies.

Work closely with business leaders and cross-functional partners to prioritize analytics opportunities.

Communicate technical findings and strategic recommendations to diverse stakeholder groups.

Data Platforms & Analytics Engineering

Analyze and prepare large-scale datasets from multiple data sources.

Leverage modern cloud data platforms to support machine learning development and operationalization.

Contribute to data reliability, governance standards, and process improvement efforts.

Data Storytelling & Insight Delivery

Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that enable informed business decisions.

Present complex analytical concepts in a way that is accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Help foster a culture focused on evidence-based decision making.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

7+ years of experience delivering data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics solutions in a business environment.

Background working within the healthcare industry.

Experience supporting marketing organizations through analytics, performance measurement, and data-driven decision making.

Strong Python programming skills for analytics and machine learning development.

Advanced SQL capabilities with experience working across large and complex datasets.

Demonstrated experience building and implementing machine learning solutions, including:

Predictive Modeling

Classification Techniques

Regression Analysis

Segmentation and Clustering

Strong foundation in statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and experimental frameworks.

Experience leading and interpreting A/B testing initiatives.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to simplify complex analytical concepts for business audiences.

Collaborative mindset with a focus on partnership and customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Azure data and analytics services.

Hands-on experience with Databricks for analytics, data engineering, or machine learning projects.

Familiarity with distributed processing technologies such as Apache Spark.

Understanding of MLOps practices, model lifecycle management, and production deployment processes.

Experience operating in regulated industries, particularly healthcare-related environments.

Exposure to additional programming languages such as Scala, Java, or C++.
