Principal Forward Deployed Engineer (Foundry & AIP)

We are seeking a Principal FDE to own the technical delivery of a client's engagement, partnering closely with client’s FDE lead and client leadership.
The role involves designing claims ontologies, building production Foundry/AIP solutions, developing pipelines and transformations, and working directly with business/operations teams to translate requirements into scalable software.
Must-Haves:
6+ years of software engineering experience
4+ years of forward-deployed, embedded, or customer-facing engineering
Production Palantir Foundry experience: Ontology, Pipelines/Transforms, Workshop, Code Repositories
Strong Python plus TypeScript or Java
Spark and SQL experience
Strong client-facing communication and problem-solving skills
Insurance/claims/healthcare experience is a plus
Responsibilities
