About the role

North Point Technology is looking to hire a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a geospatial intelligence data management program supporting critical national security missions. This position requires an active Top Secret security clearance and involves work within a special access facility. The program delivers cutting-edge geospatial data management applications and services, supporting thousands of intelligence analysts and decision-makers at locations worldwide, and is focused on pioneering future automation solutions and revolutionizing how intelligence is distributed to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

As a member of an Agile Scrum software development team, you will plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities including designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to mission problems. You will apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development lifecycle, verify software requirements, support software development and operational support activities, correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

Required Skills/Experience:

Java software development

TypeScript and/or Angular front-end development

Software requirements verification

Scrum/Agile software development processes

Use of project tracking and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Angular framework development

Kubernetes container orchestration

Docker containerization

Continuous integration and deployment tools including Git, Jenkins, and Puppet

SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) processes

JEE/Spring framework development

RESTful and/or SOAP web services

JSON and XML data formats

AI prompting techniques applied to software engineering tasks

Qualifications:

US Citizenship required

Active Top Secret security clearance required; position is located at a facility that requires special access
