Who You Are
You are an experienced full stack engineer who can independently design, build, and ship features spanning the frontend and backend. You take ownership of your work end-to-end, raise the technical bar for those around you, and enjoy mentoring less experienced engineers while continuing to grow your own craft.

Responsibilities
Design & Development: Independently design and build scalable, reliable full stack features and services spanning backend and frontend
Technical Leadership: Lead technical design discussions for medium-to-large features and drive sound architectural decisions
Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers in an agile environment to scope, plan, and deliver work
Code Quality & Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews and uphold high standards for performant, maintainable code across the stack
Mentorship: Mentor associate and mid-level engineers on technical best practices and help guide their growth
Performance & Reliability: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and security concerns
Ownership: Own features end-to-end — from design and development through deployment and operational support
Technical Debt: Identify and help prioritize technical debt to support long-term maintainability
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience: 4–6 years of hands-on software engineering experience, with solid knowledge of both backend and frontend technologies
Strong algorithmic and problem-solving ability
Working knowledge of system design and common architectural patterns
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure), and DevOps workflows
Backend Expertise:
Solid experience with service implementation in Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch
Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and working with data at scale
Frontend Expertise:
Strong proficiency with JavaScript, React, and modern frontend frameworks
Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, React Query) and frontend performance considerations
Hands-on experience with ES2015+, TypeScript, Webpack, Jest, Tailwind, and TDD practices
Experience building responsive, accessible, and visually polished UI
This role is based in Austin, Texas, and requires working from the Austin office three days a week.
This role supports a FedRAMP environment and requires that work be performed within the United States by individuals authorized to work in the U.S. and who are U.S. citizens.
