About the role

NEED Senior C++ Graphics Software Engineer (MN)

Serve as a key technical contributor in the development of software for medical devices within the Electrophysiology Division.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle: concept, requirements, design, implementation, and testing.

Design, develop, and document embedded software applications for diagnostic and interventional cardiology devices.

Develop and maintain software requirements, architecture, and design, especially for real-time 3D graphics and signal visualization.

Implement and test software, including embedded algorithms, Linux applications, GUIs, and 3D anatomical modeling.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (QA, hardware, test, manufacturing) to ensure software meets safety, reliability, and regulatory standards.

Create and execute test plans/protocols, and generate test reports for regulatory compliance.

Make and justify critical technical decisions in product design, based on investigation and testing.

Support the transfer of developed solutions to manufacturing and provide technical support during product launch.

Ensure high-quality documentation throughout development, adhering to medical device regulatory requirements.

Utilize strong C++ and Qt programming skills, with proficiency in Linux, OpenGL (including 2D/3D texture mapping), CUDA, and computational geometry algorithms.

Apply knowledge of Nvidia GPU programming and general stream programming concepts.

Preferred: Experience with GUI development using Qt/QML.
