Scientist III – Data Science / Computational Biology

We are seeking a Scientist III to join the Computational Innovation team and support oncology drug discovery through data-driven, in silico approaches. The ideal candidate will analyze multi-modal omics data, develop innovative computational methods, and collaborate with biologists to advance cancer drug discovery programs.

Key Responsibilities

Support oncology drug discovery and development programs.

Analyze internal and publicly available datasets using statistical and bioinformatics approaches.

Develop and apply innovative data science methods to address complex scientific challenges.

Work with bulk and single-cell NGS data to generate meaningful biological insights.

Stay current with scientific literature and emerging computational technologies.

Interpret and present findings to biologists and cross-functional collaborators.

Ensure data analysis is FAIR, well-documented, and reproducible.

Required Qualifications & Skills

PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Genomics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Biological Sciences, or a related field.

Strong programming experience with Python and R in Unix/Linux environments.

Experience analyzing bulk and single-cell NGS data.

Experience with HPC/high-performance computing clusters.

Proficiency in biological pathway analysis.

Preferred Experience

Oncology or immunology.

Spatial transcriptomics, methylation, or liquid biopsy data analysis.

Public oncology datasets/databases such as TCGA, GTEx, Human Cell Atlas, CZ CELLxGene, or Human Tumor Atlas Network.
