The Role

  • Develop embedded software in C++, Rust, or other modern languages for satellite systems.
  • Write software to interface with hardware components using protocols like I2C, SPI, CAN, and UART.
  • Create device drivers and system applications essential for satellite operations.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware teams to support board bring-up and integration testing.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements to testing and operations.

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including familiarity with design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language.
  • Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
