They are seeking experienced Embedded Software Engineers to deliver high-performance solutions for mission-critical operations such as military communications and aircraft. You'll join an elite engineering team where you’ll contribute across all areas of embedded systems software for next generation products and R&D projects.
Position: Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Salary Range: $160k–$220k base, depending on experience, plus bonus and comprehensive benefits
Location: Irvine, CA
Responsibilities:
Develop embedded software for networking
Build Linux kernel drivers, BSPs (ARM / RISC-V), and system-level features
Implement security protocols, encryption, and compliance standards
Create network management tools and web interfaces
Improve system performance, reliability, and security
Write test software for validation and performance
Required experience
5+ years in embedded software development
Proficient in C programming
Linux kernel driver development
Strong understanding of MAC layer networking
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
Experience with SoCs (ARM, RISC-V, Xilinx, Polarfire, etc.)
Preferred experience
Security protocols (IPsec, CNSA suite)
Python or C++
Additional Requirements: US citizenship is required due to government regulations
