About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help build, enhance, and scale backend systems for a high-performance Advertising Technology (AdTech) platform.
The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience with Java, .NET/C#, and/or Python, hands-on AWS expertise, and a strong background in advertising, ad serving, bidding, campaign management, programmatic advertising, or related AdTech systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for an advertising platform.
Build and optimize systems for ad serving, bidding, campaign management, targeting, and reporting.
Develop and integrate high-performance REST APIs and microservices.
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and large-scale data systems.
Design solutions capable of handling high traffic, large data volumes, and low-latency requirements.
Develop backend services using Java, .NET/C#, and/or Python.
Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on AWS.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Troubleshoot production issues and improve system scalability, reliability, and performance.
Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other development teams.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong proficiency in at least 2 of the following 3 technologies:
Java
.NET / C#
Python
Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and scalable backend systems.
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with CI/CD, version control, and automated deployments.
Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, scalability, and performance optimization.
Experience working with distributed and high-volume systems.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
AdTech / Advertising Experience
Strong AdTech experience is required.
Candidates should have hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
Ad serving platforms
Real-Time Bidding (RTB)
Programmatic advertising
Demand-Side Platforms (DSP)
Supply-Side Platforms (SSP)
Ad exchanges
Campaign management platforms
Audience targeting and segmentation
Impression, click, and conversion tracking
Advertising reporting and analytics
Real-time / low-latency systems
High-volume event processing
AWS / DevOps Experience
Experience with AWS and cloud-native technologies such as:
AWS EC2
AWS S3
AWS Lambda
AWS RDS / DynamoDB
AWS SQS / SNS
AWS CloudWatch
Docker / Kubernetes
CI/CD pipelines
