Data Scientist - PE-backed Business - $145,000-$175,000

This is your chance to build a data science function from the ground up at a PE-backed firm investing heavily in its future.

You’re joining one of the fastest-growing professional services firms in the country. They’re not just growing - they’re transforming how they use data and AI at scale, and you’re coming in at exactly the right moment.

Your work sits at the center of that transformation. You’ll be building the company’s core predictive analytics and machine learning capabilities, designing and deploying models that directly influence how the business operates. This isn’t a maintenance role. There’s no outdated infrastructure or backlog of technical debt holding you back. You’re helping build something from scratch.

The team is still taking shape, which means your contributions will be visible and your influence will be real. You’ll have genuine ownership over the work and a say in how the wider Data and AI function develops.

The stack is modern. You’ll work with Azure, MLflow, Pandas, NumPy, and other modern data science tools to build production-ready solutions. You’ll be solving real business problems, contributing to important decisions, and creating work that has a measurable impact.

It’s 100% remote, so you can work from wherever you do your best thinking, backed by an established business with serious investment behind it and the ambition to match.

You’ll bring strong Python and SQL skills, along with a solid background in data science, predictive analytics, statistical modelling, and machine learning. You’re comfortable taking a business problem, framing it properly, and seeing it through from exploration and feature engineering to production deployment. You can operate autonomously and understand how to build models that are explainable, reliable, and valuable to the business.
