Clave is building the superintelligence & agentic layer for the fast food industry.
The team has 20+ yrs of experience as operators.
We recently raised over $1 million (preseed) and are looking for a hands-on engineer who wants to join us in taking Clave from an early-stage startup to a category defining unicorn.
We care deeply about taste.
Shipping quickly matters, but the product needs to feel intentional. We do not want AI slop, ugly features, or technically correct work with zero thought behind the experience.
You’ll work directly with our founders and founding engineer to:
Own major features from idea to production
Build across the frontend, backend, data, and agent layers
Turn ambiguous customer problems into polished products/features
Set the standard for engineering quality and product UX
Help shape the team and architecture as Clave scales
We care more about what you have built than where you studied. The right person has high agency, strong product judgment, and a track record of excellence.
Clave is a Latin American-founded team based in Miami. Our office naturally moves between English and Spanish.
This is a full-time, on-site role in Miami.
Compensation: $120,000 - $200,000 base salary + equity.
Our hiring process is: founder conversation, technical and product deep dive, short paid working session (trial), references, and offer.
If you want a comfortable role with perfectly written tickets, this is not it.
