The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a fast-growing early stage startup that is building software to transform complex, document-heavy workflows.
They’re looking for a Software Engineer to join a small, high-calibre engineering team and take real ownership over products from the ground up.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building rather than maintaining - you'll work closely with the founding team, have significant autonomy, and see your work directly impact the product as the company scales.
What You'll Do
Build and ship new products and features from 0 → 1.
Develop systems that ingest, process and extract information from large volumes of documents.
Build intelligent workflows that can handle complex, multi-step processes.
Work across backend services, APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure.
Integrate external services and develop reliable production systems.
Work closely with product and engineering to turn ideas into scalable solutions.
Take ownership of projects and contribute to technical and architectural decisions.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong experience building and shipping production software.
Experience working with document processing, data extraction or unstructured data.
Experience building automated or agent-based workflows is a strong plus.
Strong backend development skills with experience in languages such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Go or similar.
Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving engineering environment.
Someone who enjoys solving ambiguous problems and building things from scratch.
A track record of stability and meaningful tenure in previous roles.
