Job Description

The Software Engineer III position focuses on developing technologies that enhance safety and compliance within Google's Cloud Platform. The role is part of the Access Transparency team, which ensures that administrative access to user content is justified and transparent. Engineers will tackle high-impact challenges related to distributed systems and AI compliance. This position offers opportunities for mentorship and collaboration across various teams to drive innovation and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks.

Experience in Backend software development and Data Analysis.

Experience in C++, Java or Go.

Responsibilities

Write product or system development code.

Build advanced logging and distributed tracing systems for autonomous workflows.

Design scalable technical architectures and produce well-tested code.

Design data pipelines, monitoring tools, and enforcement systems.

Partner with Site Reliability Engineers and developers to implement self-healing automation.
