Full Stack Software Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.
This is a remote opportunity for a builder who can take web features from concept to deployment while helping shape modern digital experiences in a highly mission-driven environment. The role will focus on delivering secure, maintainable solutions that support end users and advance access to care. You will partner closely with product managers, engineers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to modernize systems, create new capabilities, and improve overall platform performance.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $110,000 – $160,000 annually
Responsibilities
Develop end-to-end features from design through deployment and monitoring
Write clean, secure, and maintainable code
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineers and product managers
Design and integrate internal and external APIs
Modernize existing systems and develop new products
Create and maintain complex backend services and algorithms
Profile, troubleshoot, and optimize both new and legacy code
Qualifications
5+ years of professional web development experience in any stack
Deep understanding of web development concepts and principles
Proven experience with SQL, including relational design and complex queries
Ability to design, develop, and launch web applications or substantial features from start to finish
Strong sense of ownership and eagerness to create meaningful products
Experience using Git in a collaborative environment
Sound engineering judgment with modern development tools, including AI assistants
