Full Stack Software Engineer
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.
This role will focus on building and maintaining modern web applications that support customer-facing experiences and transactional workflows. You will partner closely with UX/UI designers and product managers to deliver reliable, high-performing features that improve the overall user experience. The position also involves strengthening server-side functionality, integrating APIs, and supporting application performance across the stack.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $151,300 – $178,000 annually
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high-performance web applications using React and Next.js
Build and optimize server-side functionality with Node.js for transactional workflows
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to enhance customer-facing interfaces
Define technical requirements and deliver features with product managers
Optimize application performance, including load times and SEO best practices
Integrate third-party APIs for payment and inventory management
Debug and resolve issues to ensure production system reliability
Qualifications
3+ years of professional web development experience
Expertise in JavaScript frameworks, specifically React and Next.js
Proficiency in Node.js for server-side applications
Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and ES6+ features
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration
Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques, including lazy loading and caching
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database systems
