Software Engineer, AI Enablement
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer, AI Enablement to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.
This role will help shape the company's internal AI engineering foundation, with a focus on reusable capabilities, scalable implementation patterns, and reliable deployment practices. You will work closely with senior engineers, Security, and Risk partners to accelerate safe adoption of AI tools across the organization. The position will also contribute to evaluation, observability, and governance standards that support production-quality AI experiences.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $133,000 – $184,000 annually
Responsibilities
Contribute to building and enhancing internal AI platforms
Develop reusable platform capabilities such as APIs, SDKs, and templates for AI tools
Prototype and productionize new AI functionalities with senior engineers
Apply and refine golden path patterns for LLM usage
Build features to standardize and govern the deployment of AI assistants
Implement AI evaluation and observability practices across systems
Collaborate with Security and Risk teams to establish AI development guardrails
Qualifications
Experience as a software engineer with a proven track record in production-quality features
Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) or rapid adaptation to AI tooling
Proficient coding skills in Python, Go, or TypeScript/JavaScript
Platform mindset focused on reuse and scalable solutions
Willingness to learn AI-specific engineering concerns like cost control and data privacy
Strong communication skills for conveying technical information
