For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Core Experience to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.
This role will focus on building and improving core product experiences that support a seamless, data-driven customer journey across digital platforms. You will partner closely with product and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions, optimize performance, and enhance functionality that adapts to customer behavior. The position also includes technical ownership of key development efforts, with a strong emphasis on reliability, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $214,000 – $221,000 annually
Responsibilities
Develop scalable software solutions for the company's platform
Analyze and optimize SQL queries for performance improvements
Enable data-driven features that adapt to customer behaviors
Lead the strategic planning and execution of development projects
Implement solutions for a seamless shopping experience across platforms
Conduct testing and troubleshooting on existing systems
Perform additional duties as assigned by the team
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or foreign equivalent
5 years of experience in software engineering
5 years of experience with Java, Ruby, Python, or similar languages
5 years of experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL
5 years of experience with API query technologies like GraphQL
2 years of experience in machine learning model development
2 years of experience with client/server architectures
