About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Data Scientist to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will focus on building predictive analytics solutions that help improve decision-making across data-rich healthcare operations. You will develop and optimize machine learning models, strengthen data pipelines, and translate analytical findings into practical business impact. The position also requires close collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure modeling efforts align with organizational goals.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $117,000 annually

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize machine learning models focused on predictive analytics.

Perform feature engineering to improve model accuracy and efficiency.

Evaluate model performance using metrics such as MAPE and RMSE, then adjust strategies as needed.

Build data pipelines using PySpark, SQL, and cloud solutions for seamless integration.

Leverage integration tools for large-scale data projects.

Utilize data modeling and processing tools to support analytics workflows.

Collaborate with stakeholders to align models with business objectives.

Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in data science and machine learning.

Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL for data analysis and model development.

Expertise in time series forecasting methods such as ARIMA and LSTMs.

Strong experience in data model optimization and evaluation metrics.

Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data pipeline construction using various tools.

Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud services.

Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
