About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Applied AI Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This role will focus on designing and deploying applied AI solutions that improve the speed and intelligence of post-silicon validation efforts. You will partner closely with cross-functional engineering teams to identify high-impact use cases, evaluate emerging AI frameworks, and drive practical solutions from prototype through deployment. The work will also involve building the data and measurement systems needed to track impact, improve workflows, and support scalable AI adoption across the organization.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $152,000 – $287,500 annually

Responsibilities

Design and deploy AI systems to enable faster, smarter post-silicon validation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and build AI solutions

Evaluate emerging AI frameworks and adopt relevant technologies

Build data systems to measure AI impact and drive continuous improvement

Architect solutions that enhance workflow efficiency, scalability, and intelligence

Qualifications

BS, MS, or PhD in CS, EE, CE, or a related field with 5+ years of hands-on ML/AI experience

2+ years of experience in applied AI with ownership of AI systems from prototype to deployment

Strong Python skills and proficiency in one static language such as C, C++, C#, Java, or Scala

Experience deploying and monitoring scalable AI/ML models

Solid understanding of EE fundamentals and hardware interaction

Experience in a silicon development environment with chip characterization

Hands-on experience with silicon debugging tools
