About The Role

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in software development, particularly with languages such as Java, Python, or C++, is essential. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud, as well as experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset are critical for success in this role. Prior experience working in an Agile environment and understanding of DevOps practices will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions to support Walmart’s retail operations and customer engagement platforms.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and deliver high-quality products.

Maintain and improve existing systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to uphold coding standards and best practices.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the development process and product offerings.

Assist in the deployment and monitoring of applications, ensuring smooth integration and minimal downtime.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
