ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a technical leader on our team, you'll drive the design and delivery of scalable, high-performance applications powered by LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agentic AI workflows. You'll set engineering standards, mentor peers, and partner with stakeholders to turn complex business problems — especially in regulated, healthcare-adjacent environments — into production-ready solutions.
âś… Required Qualifications
Engineering & Leadership
5+ years of software engineering experience, including designing and supporting enterprise-scale applications
2+ years as a Technical Lead, Senior Engineer, or equivalent technical leadership role
Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, system reliability, performance optimization, and observability
Core Technical Stack
Strong expertise in Python application development and modern API frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, or similar)
Experience designing and implementing microservices, distributed systems, and RESTful APIs
Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native application development
Hands-on experience with:
Kubernetes (GKE)
Docker / Containerization
CI/CD pipelines & DevOps practices
GitHub and modern source control practices
Experience developing event-driven and streaming solutions (Kafka or similar messaging platforms)
Experience with cloud-native data technologies: BigQuery, BigTable, SQL, and large-scale data processing
Generative AI Expertise
Hands-on experience implementing and operationalizing:
Generative AI solutions
Large Language Models (LLMs)
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
AI Agents & Agentic AI workflows
Prompt engineering & model evaluation frameworks
Experience integrating enterprise apps with AI platforms: Gemini, Vertex AI, OpenAI, Claude, or similar

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and production support skills
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management
Experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), utilization management, or prior authorization operations
Building AI-powered workflow automation and decision-support systems
Deploying and managing AI applications in regulated environments
Familiarity with MLOps, AI governance, model monitoring, and responsible AI practices
Experience with cloud migration and modernization initiatives
Leading architecture reviews, mentoring engineers, and driving engineering best practices
Exposure to document intelligence, OCR, intelligent automation, and business process automation platforms
Experience with healthcare data standards, secure data processing, and compliance requirements
🎓 Education & Certifications
Master's Degree preferred in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Relevant industry certifications in Cloud Computing, Kubernetes, or AI/ML (e.g., Google Cloud Professional certifications, Kubernetes certifications, AI/ML certifications)
