Wal-Mart is seeking a Staff Data Scientist - Sam's Fraud Prevention in Bentonville, AR. Job duties incl but not limited to architecting & productionizing Agentic AI-powered fraud decisioning syst leveraging LLM orchestration, graph-derived embeddings, & ML-based risk scoring to aggregate multi-syst signals, synthesize structured risk narratives, & generate automated accept/reject recommendations - materially reducing manual review dependency & decision latency. Master's or equiv in Analytics, Econ., CS, or rel. fld OR Bachelor's or equiv in Analytics, Econ., CS, or rel. fld + 2 yrs of exp in analytics or rel. fld. Skills req'd incl but not limited to exp w/: coding in one of following object-oriented prog'g languages: C++ or Python; Machine Learning & Deep Learning models, incl CNN, Neural Networks & Bayesian Techniques; Stats & Probability; performing data analysis & data collection using Python; identifying & applying metrics for measuring success & failure incl F1, precision, recall & hypothesis testing. - Knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning models
- Understanding of statistics and probability
