Insight Global is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for a Contract to Hire position in Midtown. The role involves designing, testing, and developing software for military embedded systems, ensuring compliance with safety and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design, test, and develop software packages to meet system requirements.
Develop and maintain software and scripts supporting embedded software development.
Additional Responsibilities
Develop software for military applications, including electronic warfare and sensors systems.
Create software requirements and designs following approved standards.
Ensure software compliance with military, safety, and security standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience developing software for complex military systems using disciplined processes.
Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Ada programming languages.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with over 3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with avionic systems, secure/safety-critical systems, and military data buses.
Leadership experience and familiarity with standards like LDRA, VxWorks 653, and CORBA TAO.
