About The Role

We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer with expertise in .NET/C# and Modern Web Technologies to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining customer-facing web applications that are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational goals. You will work across the entire technology stack, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet user needs and business objectives. The ideal candidate is passionate about full-stack development, cloud-ready applications, API integrations, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve productivity and software quality. This position offers the flexibility of remote work within the US Midwest region, with standard business hours and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred

3+ years of software or web development experience, including analysis, design, coding, and testing

Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Proficiency in object-oriented programming

Experience with SQL Server development and database structures

Hands-on experience developing full-stack web applications using Modern Web Technologies and .NET/C#

Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services

Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar technologies

Ability to evaluate, test, and refine AI-generated code for quality, security, and maintainability

Knowledge of secure full-stack development practices, including authentication, authorization, input validation, and API security

Understanding of OWASP security best practices

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Effective communication and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain full-stack web applications utilizing Modern Web Technologies, ASP.NET MVC, .NET/C#, RESTful APIs, and SQL Server

Create and support complex backend services, business logic, system integrations, and APIs

Utilize AI-assisted development tools throughout the SDLC to support requirements analysis, solution design, coding, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and code review

Review and validate AI-generated code to ensure adherence to quality, security, and organizational standards

Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to enhance developer productivity, testing coverage, and delivery efficiency

Perform programming tasks related to new development or maintenance of websites and applications

Analyze user needs and assess the impact on other site areas to determine technical requirements

Promote best practices in quality assurance by conducting unit testing and supporting user acceptance testing

Follow secure coding standards and incorporate security-by-design principles into development tasks

Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all assigned projects

Support technical support staff by addressing customer-reported issues efficiently and accurately

Lead small to mid-sized development projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards

Coordinate with Website and Database Administrators to optimize server configurations, maintain database integrity, and facilitate staging and deployment processes

Stay current with emerging technologies and trends relevant to full-stack development and software security
