About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Salesforce CRM Software Engineer - Mid-Level to join our Investment Experience Technology team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, testing, and supporting Salesforce solutions that enhance the experience of our members and advisors across Investment Services. Collaborating closely with senior engineers, architects, product teams, and business partners, you will help deliver scalable CRM capabilities utilizing Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Data Cloud, integrations, and modern engineering practices. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an engineer with solid Salesforce development experience to deepen their technical expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role is based in San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, or Phoenix, AZ, with a requirement to be in the office four days per week. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience of at least four years. You should have over three years of software engineering experience, with at least two years dedicated to delivering solutions through the entire SDLC. Hands-on expertise in Salesforce Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs is essential. You should have a solid understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, governor limits, bulkification, and data modeling concepts. Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Data Cloud, and CRM integrations using REST APIs, Bulk APIs, Platform Events, and CDC is highly desirable. Certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I or II, Administrator, FSC, or Data Cloud are a plus. Additionally, familiarity with DevOps tools like Copado, Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines, as well as experience in enterprise data integration and automation, will strengthen your application. Prior experience supporting wealth management, brokerage, or regulated financial services platforms is beneficial.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, code, and test complex technical solutions to meet business requirements.
Investigate and resolve intricate application and system issues, including production incidents, through effective troubleshooting techniques.
Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement, recommending policy or procedural changes to optimize operations.
Prepare and implement complex solutions by defining system specifications, standards, and programming requirements.
Follow the full software development lifecycle, from initial design to deployment and maintenance.
Participate in design reviews, contributing to key system design principles and best practices.
Mentor junior engineers and, as experience grows, begin mentoring peers; review team members' code to ensure quality standards.
Ensure compliance with risk management and regulatory policies by identifying, measuring, monitoring, and controlling associated risks effectively.
