Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer on the DevX team at Robinhood, you will focus on building and scaling the core developer infrastructure. This role involves managing monorepo builds and optimizing CI pipelines to enhance developer productivity. You will work closely with software developers to ensure a seamless development experience, minimizing friction in coding, testing, and deployment. This position is based in either New York City or Menlo Park, with a strong emphasis on in-person collaboration.
Requirements
Experience building and maintaining developer infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, or large-scale build systems such as Bazel.
Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code in Go or Python.
Experience with distributed or remote build execution systems.
A solid understanding of containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on improving developer productivity and onboarding.
Responsibilities
Manage and optimize monorepo builds using Bazel and own the remote build execution cluster.
Scale CI pipelines to support thousands of daily builds, focusing on speed, safety, and reliability.
Improve the developer onboarding experience, reducing time-to-first-commit for new engineers.
Provide and maintain remote development environments to accelerate local workflows.
