Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Remote .NET Software Engineer. Summary: We are seeking a .NET Software Engineer to join an Agile development team focused primarily on remediating identified security vulnerabilities across enterprise applications. This is a hands-on development role requiring strong .NET and API development experience, along with a solid understanding of DevOps practices and modern development tools. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an Agile environment, collaborating with developers and other stakeholders, and taking ownership of vulnerability remediation from analysis through implementation and testing. Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET
Analyze and remediate identified security vulnerabilities within application code and APIs
Design, develop, and maintain secure APIs
Work within a DevOps environment to support development, testing, deployment, and remediation efforts
Utilize GitHub and Harness as part of the development and deployment lifecycle
Collaborate with senior developers and team members to analyze issues and implement effective solutions
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies
Track development work, defects, and remediation activities using Jira
Clearly communicate technical findings, solutions, progress, and potential risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET development
Experience developing and securing APIs
Experience working with DevOps practices and tools
Hands-on experience with GitHub
Hands-on experience with Harness
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, including daily stand-ups and sprint-based development
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with MuleSoft or a similar API integration platform
Experience with Voltage SDK
Experience working in a highly regulated or security-focused environment
Experience with application security and vulnerability remediation
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
