Job Title: Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Python, SQL, Snowflake, and Snowflake Cortex AI Functions.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python, SQL, Snowflake, and Snowflake Cortex AI Functions to design, develop, and maintain scalable data and AI-driven applications. The ideal candidate will have experience building enterprise-grade solutions, developing robust data pipelines, and leveraging AI capabilities within Snowflake to deliver innovative business outcomes.

This role requires a hands-on engineer who can collaborate across teams, solve complex technical challenges, and contribute to the architecture and implementation of next-generation data and AI platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using Python.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following software engineering best practices.

Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions.

Data Engineering & Analytics

Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.

Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines within Snowflake.

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across enterprise data platforms.

Implement monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting processes for production systems.

Snowflake & AI Development

Design and implement solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud platform.

Develop AI-enabled applications using Snowflake Cortex AI Functions

Integrate Cortex AI functionalities into data workflows and business applications.

Optimize Snowflake workloads for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Collaboration & Innovation

Work closely with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Architects, and Business Stakeholders.

Translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications: Bachelor's in Engineering, or related field.

Experience

5+ years of professional software development experience.

Hands-on experience building enterprise applications and data solutions.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Technical Skills

Strong programming skills in Python.

Advanced SQL development and query optimization.

Hands-on experience with Snowflake

Experience implementing Snowflake Cortex AI Functions.

Experience with API development and integration.

Strong understanding of software design patterns and distributed systems.

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
