About the role

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded software design and development. This role requires a deep understanding of embedded software engineering principles and a proven ability to design and implement complex systems. This role involves a wide range of software responsibilities and complete ownership of systems and projects.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test embedded software for space-based and ground-based applications.

Collaborate with electrical engineers and software engineers.

Qualifications:

Experience developing embedded software: C, C++, HDL, etc.

Experience with microprocessors, microcontrollers, FPGAs, embedded Linux, RTOS, etc.

Experience integrating software onto custom hardware.

Familiarity with industry standards and best practices .

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.

Understanding of computer programming and ability to script or automate small tasks

Ability to learn new concepts and research

Location

Remote position with occasional travel

Pay and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package including salary and benefits. Pay range based on experience and ability. Pay range: $145,000 - $300,000. Open to contractor or full-time employees
