Role: Senior Software Engineer with Automotive Diagnostics
Location: Dearborn / Livonia, MI – Onsite
Experience: 8–12 years
Seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong Java and GCP experience and automotive diagnostics knowledge to support Ford-focused engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead diagnostics-heavy development and architecture discussions with automotive stakeholders.
Work with vehicle diagnostics, DTCs, ECU/module programming, and vehicle network architecture.
Support OTA update and vehicle software integration activities.
Gather and clarify technical requirements with Ford engineering, business, and supplier teams.
Collaborate with OEMs, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
Provide technical leadership and support customer-facing discussions.
Must Have: 8–12 years experience + Java + GCP + Automotive Diagnostics + DTC + ECU/Vehicle Networks + OTA + OEM/Supplier Integration + strong stakeholder communication.
