KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Audit Technology Organization (ATO).
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement core components of our generative AI solutions, focusing on building robust, scalable features aligned with an understanding of business requirements
Collaborate with senior engineers and product managers to understand feature requirements and contribute to the technical design of AI agents and orchestration patterns
Ensure the quality and reliability of your code by writing unit tests, participating in code reviews, and utilizing our enhanced evaluation framework.
Drive product advancement by actively contributing to the development of RAG pipelines, context engineering modules, and integrations with services like Azure AI Search and Databricks
Deploy and maintain AI microservices ensuring they meet our high standards for performance and scalability
Participate actively in our agile development process, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of features
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
Minimum three years of recent professional experience in software engineering, with demonstrated experience in building and deploying AI or data-intensive applications
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, statistics, mathematics, analytics or a related quantitative discipline is preferred; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required
Strong programming skills in Python and hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel
Experience working within an agile environment using SDLC tools like Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments
Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an excellent ability to communicate technical ideas and collaborate effectively within a team
