About Disbo

Disbo is a settlement disbursement and IOLTA compliance platform designed for personal injury law firms and their medical provider partners. The platform streamlines post-settlement workflows by replacing manual checks, spreadsheets, and trust-ledger calculations with automated, compliant disbursements from a single IOLTA trust account.

About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer at Disbo, you will help design, build, and maintain the core platform that powers our settlement disbursement and compliance solution.

This is a hands-on, full-stack engineering role where you’ll work across both frontend and backend systems to build secure, scalable, and reliable software. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, product, design, operations, and leadership to solve complex technical challenges and deliver features that directly impact our customers.

As an early member of the engineering team, you’ll have the opportunity to influence technical decisions, contribute to architecture discussions, and help shape engineering best practices as we continue to grow.

This is a full-time, onsite role in Los Angeles. Our regular workday begins at 8:00 AM, and consistent in-office attendance and punctuality are expected.

About Disbo

Instead, the money gets stuck — paper checks, spreadsheets, trust-ledger math by hand, and providers calling to ask where their payment is. One reconciliation error can turn into a bar complaint. Reconciliation runs in the background, compliance is checked before every transaction, and audit-ready reports are always one click away. What you get: - Automated multi-party settlement disbursements - Real-time three-way trust accounting - Built-in IOLTA and state bar-rule compliance - AI-powered medical lien negotiation - Attorney referral fee management - ACH, RTP, wire, and check — every rail, one audit trail Providers get paid directly, with full documentation and no chasing. Firms close cases with confidence, knowing every dollar is tracked and every party is verified. Now accepting early-access members — priority onboarding, dedicated support, and a hand in shaping the platform before launch. Only 300 spots. Join the waitlist at disbo.com.
