Senior Full Stack Engineer (AI Solutions)

Location: Providence, RI (Onsite 4 days/week, Remote Fridays)

Compensation: $123,000-$150,000 base salary

Bonus: 15% bonus opportunity

W2 Permanent / Full-Time position with our long-term client near Providence

What You'll Do

Design, build, deploy, and support custom software applications and digital solutions

Utilize AI-assisted and agentic development tools to accelerate development and innovation

Partner with business stakeholders to identify challenges, prototype solutions, and rapidly iterate based on feedback

Develop web applications, dashboards, reporting tools, workflows, and data-driven business applications

Integrate enterprise data, databases, and APIs to create scalable solutions

Evaluate and implement emerging AI and automation technologies

Provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with software development

Lead and mentor a small team of engineers

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field

5+ years of professional software development experience

Strong experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks such as:

C#/.NET

Python

Java

JavaScript/TypeScript

React

Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar)

Strong understanding of SQL, databases, APIs, and enterprise application integration

Experience leading developers or providing technical leadership

Ability to work directly with business users and translate requirements into practical solutions

Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment

Preferred Qualifications

Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or operations experience

Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS

Power BI, Power Platform, or data visualization experience

Experience with AI, intelligent automation, machine learning, or advanced analytics

Experience modernizing legacy applications and reducing reliance on third-party SaaS solutions
