Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop foundational software components for Robotics and Enabling Technology applications.
The scope of this role includes research, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of software components within clinical application architectures. The software developed will support either shared functionality across multiple applications or specialized solutions for Total Hip and Total Knee surgery applications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop source code for shared biomechanics and surgical planning components that integrate into established pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative clinical application architectures.
Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including code reviews, documentation, integration, testing, defect management, and code analysis.
Deliver feature-complete software components that meet functional requirements and design specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software solutions.
Support ongoing maintenance and enhancement of clinical software components.
Qualifications
Strong experience with C++ and Qt development in a Linux environment.
Experience working with 3D geometry and image processing algorithms, including complex 3D mathematical calculations.
Experience developing surgical planning systems is highly preferred.
Proficiency with integrated development environments (IDEs) and software build systems.
Experience using revision control systems and following CI/CD development practices.
Familiarity with unit testing and incorporating automated testing into the software development workflow.
