Lead AI Engineer

You will join a team dedicated to advancing the state of the art in science and engineering to deliver value to millions of users.

What You'll Be Doing

Partner with cross-functional teams of engineers, research scientists, and product managers to deliver AI-powered products.

Design, develop, test, and support AI software components including foundation model training and large language model inference.

Leverage a broad stack of open source and SaaS AI technologies to build scalable production systems.

Invent and introduce state-of-the-art optimization techniques to improve system performance, cost, and latency.

Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap of foundational AI systems within the organisation.

What We're Looking For

Strong foundation in engineering and mathematics with expertise in hardware, software, and AI optimization.

Proven experience developing AI and machine learning algorithms or technologies in a production environment.

Ability to intuitively understand scientific publications and judiciously apply novel techniques to solve business problems.

Experience with technologies such as PyTorch, Vector Databases, and cloud-based AI infrastructure.

Legally authorized to work in the United States.
