Backend Software Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure server-side applications. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, experience with APIs and databases, and the ability to work closely with frontend developers and other teams.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications and services.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend systems.
Develop efficient and scalable database structures and queries.
Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
Implement authentication, authorization, security, and data protection.
Troubleshoot bugs, optimize application performance, and improve system reliability.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and product managers.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decisions.
Monitor and improve application performance and scalability.
Required Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java.
Strong hands-on experience with React, with specific experience in React 18 strongly preferred/required.
Strong JavaScript development experience.
Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, and application architecture.
Experience working with SQL Server and relational databases.
Experience with modern software development, testing, debugging, and deployment practices.
Ability to read and thoroughly understand technical requirements and existing codebases.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with aggressive delivery timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Understanding of application security and performance optimization.
