Artificial Intelligence Engineer
About the role
Our client, a leader in property management software, is seeking an AI Developer IV to join their Internal AI Center of Excellence in Richardson, TX.
This role will focus on developing and scaling Generative AI and agentic solutions that improve engineering productivity, accelerate software delivery, and help engineering teams adopt AI effectively across the organization. The ideal candidate is a hands-on AI/Software Engineer with strong production development experience and expertise in LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, and AI-powered developer tools.
Responsibilities
Build AI-powered developer workflows, assistants, and agentic SDLC automation solutions
Develop reusable LLM, RAG, tool-calling, and agent orchestration patterns and reference implementations
Create internal tools supporting code analysis, documentation, testing, migration, and engineering productivity
Partner with engineering teams to prototype AI solutions and mature successful POCs into repeatable production practices
Provide technical guidance and enablement around LLM, RAG, and agentic workflow design
Develop AI evaluation, observability, security, privacy, and responsible-use practices
Optimize solutions for performance, reliability, latency, and cost, including model selection and retrieval efficiency
Required Qualifications
6+ years of software engineering experience
2+ years of hands-on AI/LLM/Generative AI/agentic experience
Strong Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript skills
Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, tool calling, vector databases, and agent orchestration
Experience with CI/CD, Git, APIs, automated testing, and observability
Experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, or Codex
LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK, Google ADK, Semantic Kernel, or CrewAI
OpenAI Evals, LangSmith, RAGAS, or similar evaluation frameworks
Playwright or workflow automation
Internal developer platforms or AI enablement
Privacy, compliance, or regulated data experience
Enterprise software, PropTech, or fintech experience
