Job Overview

We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop and support embedded software and firmware for medical device systems in a regulated, safety-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and debug embedded software and firmware for medical devices and regulated systems.

Develop and maintain software for MCUs and MPUs in real-time embedded systems.

Develop applications running in RTOS environments.

Work with FPGA-based architectures for signal processing, hardware acceleration, and control logic.

Work with VHDL/Verilog-based FPGA systems as needed.

Develop and tune closed-loop control systems.

Work with temperature control, sensor feedback, and PID control algorithms.

Support software verification and validation (V&V) activities.

Follow IEC 62304 medical device software lifecycle requirements.

Collaborate with Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Firmware, and Quality Assurance teams.

Required Qualifications

Experience in embedded software and firmware development.

Experience developing software for microcontrollers (MCUs) and microprocessors (MPUs).

Experience with real-time embedded systems.

Experience developing applications in RTOS environments.

Experience with FPGA-based architectures is preferred.

Exposure to VHDL or Verilog is a plus.

Experience with closed-loop control systems.

Experience with temperature control and sensor feedback systems.

Experience with PID control algorithms.

Experience supporting software verification and validation activities.

Knowledge of IEC 62304 medical device software lifecycle standards.

Strong collaboration and communication skills.
