Embedded Software Engineer

Lumicity is partnered with a well-funded stealth aerospace startup developing a next-generation autonomous aircraft.
They're building out their core engineering team and looking for an Embedded Software Engineer who wants significant ownership in a genuinely hands-on, early-stage environment.
Looking for:
5+ years embedded software experience
Strong Embedded Linux experience
Python
Hardware/software integration
Internal tooling, logging and test infrastructure
RTOS, Rust, ARM/FPGA SoCs or sensor integration are a plus
Aerospace, robotics, autonomy or early-stage hardware backgrounds particularly relevant
Package: $180k–$250k base + equity
Location: Bay Area or Seattle
Working model: Onsite
Visa: No sponsorship available (Citizen or GC only)
You'll be joining a small, experienced engineering team where you'll have real ownership over the embedded platform, architecture and tooling.
