Founding AI Engineer

We are working with an early-stage AI company building the data and agent infrastructure behind enterprise automation.
The platform connects fragmented systems such as ERPs, CRMs, documents, and legacy data, creating the business context AI agents need to execute real workflows reliably.
The company is venture-backed, profitable, and has reached eight-figure ARR with a lean engineering team.
The Role
Own production AI systems end-to-end across agents, backend, data, and infrastructure. You’ll work directly with customers, ship into real enterprise environments and turn successful deployments into reusable platform capabilities.
What You’ll Do
Build and deploy production AI agents
Integrate enterprise APIs, databases and legacy systems
Build data models, ontologies and context layers for agents
Design backend services and agent infrastructure
Own projects from customer problem through production
Improve reliability, observability and failure recovery
Turn customer solutions into reusable platform primitives
What You’ll Bring
Startup experience
Production experience building AI agents
Strong backend or ML engineering fundamentals
Experience owning meaningful end-to-end systems
Breadth across AI, backend, data, and infrastructure
Strong systems design and technical judgement
Comfort working directly with customers
