About The Role

Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services, is seeking an Associate Software Engineer in Maryland Heights, MO, and/or Hazelwood, MO. This role involves developing software for the F-15 Mission Planning systems, contributing to critical defense projects. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative environment, utilizing modern development practices to deliver high-quality software solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that supports vital military operations, ensuring mission success and operational readiness.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or related fields, along with a minimum of 1+ year of experience in software development. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, Git, and Object-Oriented Programming is essential. Preferred qualifications include additional years of professional experience, experience with Javascript, and a proven track record across the full software development lifecycle. Candidates must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to collaborate effectively, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Develop, document, maintain, and unit test code using software development environments and programming languages such as C#, Javascript, and SQL.

Design and implement software components, ensuring seamless integration into fully functional systems.

Select, tailor, and deploy development processes and tools to optimize productivity and quality.

Perform troubleshooting and defect resolution to maintain system reliability and performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose innovative solutions to complex problems.

Work under general supervision, following established guidelines and best practices.

Integrate and compile software components into builds, conducting limited testing in target environments as needed.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support project goals and organizational needs.
