We're working with a global aerospace and defense leader that designs, manufactures, and sells airplanes, rotorcraft, rockets, satellites, telecommunications equipment, and missiles worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge flight simulation technology.
The Role
Develop, document, and maintain architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems
Develop and maintain code and integrate software components into a fully functional software system
Support the development of simulation environments for testing by Mission Systems engineers
Work on an agile team to accomplish project goals
Execute and document software research and development projects
Create core simulation infrastructure to serve as a foundation for flight simulation programs
What You'll Need
Bachelor's Degree
Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
2+ years of programming experience in C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
Experience in the defense or avionics industry is a plus
Knowledge of basic networking principles is a plus
