Senior AI Solutions Engineer / AI Architect

Contract to hire/FTE
A leading national transportation organisation is seeking an experienced AI professional to design, build, and deploy enterprise-scale AI solutions that deliver measurable business impact.
What You'll Do
Develop and deploy AI/ML, generative AI, NLP, and automation solutions
Build and optimize LLM applications, RAG architectures, AI agents, and copilots
Create scalable, production-ready AI pipelines and MLOps frameworks
Partner with business leaders to identify and deliver high-value AI use cases
Lead solution design sessions and translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Mentor team members and drive AI adoption across the organization
What We're Looking For
7+ years of software development experience
3+ years building and deploying AI/ML solutions in production
Strong Python skills and experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
Hands-on experience with OpenAI APIs, LangChain, Hugging Face, vector databases, and LLM ecosystems
Experience deploying AI solutions in Azure, AWS, or GCP environments
Strong communication skills with both technical and business audiences
Preferred
Enterprise AI governance experience
AI copilots and intelligent automation expertise
MBA or strong business acumen
Experience in complex operational environments
