Senior Full Stack .NET Developer

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to join a long-term application modernization initiative. The primary focus of this project will be the migration of a legacy application to a modern technology stack.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across the full development stack, including .NET, PostgreSQL, and Angular, and be comfortable working within an established development environment and following existing architecture, coding standards, and development guidelines.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and contributing to a significant application modernization effort from migration through completion.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the migration and modernization of a legacy application into a modern technology environment.

Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using .NET, Angular, and PostgreSQL.

Work across both front-end and back-end components of the application.

Collaborate with other developers, technical stakeholders, and project leadership throughout the migration process.

Analyze existing legacy functionality and translate business and technical requirements into modern solutions.

Develop clean, maintainable, and scalable code in accordance with established development standards.

Follow existing application architecture, coding standards, development processes, and technology guidelines.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues throughout development and migration.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to overall code quality.

Clearly communicate technical challenges, project status, dependencies, and potential risks.

Document technical work and contribute to knowledge transfer as needed.

Work independently while remaining highly engaged and communicative with the broader project team.

Required Qualifications

5–7+ years of professional software development experience.

Strong experience with .NET / C# development.

Strong hands-on experience with Angular.

Strong experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

Demonstrated experience developing full-stack applications.

Experience working with and modernizing or migrating legacy applications.

Ability to work effectively within an existing technology stack and established coding standards.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
