Overview

We’re Hiring: Senior Java Developer

Location: Rutherford, NJ

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience in Java application development.

Proven experience in full-stack development, including web technologies (HTML, CSS), REST-APIs, and backend Java/J2EE.

Deep knowledge of Java Core, Java EE, and concurrent programming principles.

Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework, including Core, Integration, Batch, JDBC, and Hibernate.

Proficiency with relational databases (preferably Oracle) and NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB).

Familiarity with Linux environments and scripting.

Experience with SDLC, DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, JIRA.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and provide technical mentorship.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with React JS.

Background in the financial or banking sectors.

Automated testing experience.

Knowledge of AI development tools such as Copilot.

Skills in Python, PySpark, and Big Data environments.

Understanding of event-based architectures, JMS, and Unix-based operating systems.

Experience with microservices architecture and design patterns.

Familiarity with application servers and web application deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex application systems and programs in coordination with the technology team.

Develop and maintain web technologies such as HTML, CSS, REST-APIs, and backend services using Java and J2EE technologies.

Apply structured development methodologies, including test-driven development, within Agile frameworks.

Build sophisticated tools for development and production teams to improve efficiency.

Manage multiple project teams, providing strategic direction and overseeing resource planning, budget management, and results monitoring.

Conduct detailed requirements analysis, technical reviews, and resolve technical challenges.

Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including offshore teams, to ensure project alignment and communication.

Lead the architectural design and implementation of multi-agent systems and autonomous AI solutions, ensuring scalability and robustness.

Develop, train, and fine-tune AI agents for tasks including natural language understanding and decision-making.

Design frameworks for agent orchestration, communication, and integration within existing enterprise platforms.

Stay informed about advancements in AI, multi-agent systems, and related fields, conducting research and prototypes of new technologies.

Mentor and coach team members to foster growth and adherence to standards.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, promoting a culture of ethical standards and risk management.
