About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team, responsible for building and scaling the Moveworks AI cloud infrastructure and developer platform. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams—including platform, machine learning, search, data, and frontend—to understand their DevOps and infrastructure needs. Your expertise will influence the DevOps roadmap and lead various projects from conception through execution. You will design, build, and manage our cloud infrastructure across multiple regions and clouds, ensuring it meets the highest standards of security, scalability, performance, observability, resilience, and cost efficiency. Additionally, you will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with infrastructure as code, automate provisioning processes, and collaborate with the security team to enhance our security posture. Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps roles
Proven hands-on technical expertise in designing and managing AWS or similar cloud platforms
Experience with managing AWS security groups, IAM roles, Elastic Load Balancers, CloudFormation, and other AWS services
Strong knowledge of VPN, AWS VPC, DNS, and troubleshooting network issues
Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, Istio, and related tools
Working knowledge of disaster recovery processes, data backup and recovery, encryption, and security tools such as AWS KMS, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning
Proficiency with automation tools like Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.
Strong ownership mentality with the ability to lead complex platform initiatives from start to finish
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment, managing multiple priorities
Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and scale Moveworks AI cloud infrastructure across multiple regions and cloud providers
Collaborate with platform, machine learning, search, data, and frontend teams to understand their infrastructure needs and implement solutions accordingly
Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance infrastructure architectures
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using infrastructure as code, ensuring automation and consistency across environments
Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security, implementing improvements as needed
Work with security teams to enhance and maintain the security posture of the cloud infrastructure
Troubleshoot network, security, and performance issues proactively
Implement disaster recovery, data backup, and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity
Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and best practices to continuously improve infrastructure capabilities
